About Auntie Bev

Beverley FlocktonI am Beverley Flockton and I work from my home as a registered childminder. I started childminding in August 1993 working by myself and began employing staff in December 2008 due to increasing numbers of children. Currently, Mrs Janice Freeman works full days Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday; Miss Samantha Freeman works full days Thursday and Friday, and Kyrie Flockton works full time.

Jan FreemanI am Ofsted registered and am allowed to care for 18 children under the age of 8 at any one time when working with two assistants. This includes 9 children under the age of 5 and 3 children under the age of 1. I offer full and part time places for children aged from birth to 12 years. I am an accredited childminder which means I can offer 15 hours per week of free nursery education to 3 and 4 years olds which can be taken over three to five days.

Kyrie FlocktonI am committed to best practice in order that the children in my care may reach their full potential in all areas of learning. I keep up to date with training and am always looking to improve wherever I can. I have a good secondary school education which I have built upon whilst working – completing an NVQ level 3 qualification in Early Years Childcare and Education in 2005 and my Foundation Degree in Early Years in May 2009. I have also passed a VRQ level 3 Samantha Freemanqualification in Early Years Foundation Stage practice – January 2010, to compliment the teaching of nursery education. In addition, I am a member of the Wakefield Childminding network.
